Specify and project manage the installation of an extensive packing line for flour and cake mixes at in, Bendigo.  New Robag 3fx VFFS, Australian Filling & Packing screw auger dispensing system, Freemantle Two-Flap-Sealer, SAiMO Metal Detectors, Fresco Bulk Powder decanting and conveying system.

This installation effectively doubled the production of this facility with no additional labour required.

Packaging Evolution Awards 2006, first place taken by KR Castlemaine Foods for packaging waste management and work to minimise environmental impacts from the disposal of used packaging; conserve resources through better design and production processes; and facilitate the re-use and recycling of used packaging materials.

·  Mar-2009

The 2009 Melbourne International Motor Show saw the range of new Ford vehicles wrapped in NatureFlex™ before their public unveiling.  

Advertising agency,  Jack Morton Worldwide, were impressed with the green credentials of the NatureFlex™ film as supplied by Tojo Packaging.   Tojo also provided some standard and custom built equipment to aid the wrapping of the vehicles.

Tojo Packaging has a new Logo.  The new Logo was designed for us by “Magic Mouse Graphics”.   The fresh new look will also be used on some of our eco-friendly packaging items. 

The new look reinforces our commitment to providing environmentally better packaging solutions where they exist.

Tojo Packaging has been proud to work closely with Pure Bendigo Gold on a number of projects.  The most recent of these being the design and development of new processing and packaging facilities.

Tojo Packaging were given a packaging brief by Good Foods of Castlemaine to help improve the presentation and security of their gourmet nut butters.  We have now achieved the initial goal and are working with Good Foods on more packaging concepts.

Tojo Procurement Services has been working with Pasta Master in Bendigo on procurement benchmarking and mentoring assignment.

Tojo has also developed a Customer Order picking and tracking system.  This has been incorporated into a “Management Dashboard” reporting system.

Tojo Procurement Services has developed a simple BOM and Factory Ordering system for the Wilpak Group.  We have also worked on the development of an in-house HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice intranet system for Wilpak in Melbourne.

Tojo Packaging helped North West Culinary Herbs in Tasmania with their demanding packaging requirements. 

The first delivery of Tojo’s Fresh Herb eco-Cones was made in March.  These are a unique package that not only helps prolong the freshness of their quality product, but also helps protect our environment.  The Fresh Herb eco-Cones are made from a compostable material.

Tojo, through our alliance with “Magic Mouse Graphics” helped with the design of North West Herbs Tasmania’s new corporate logo.

Tojo Packaging is now identifying our eco-friendly range for products with a new icon.

The “Renewable Resource” logo is designed to aid our customers in choosing products that are better for the environment, and are sourced from ethical manufacturers.

EG: NatureFlex™ is a regenerated cellulose structure which is derived from wood pulp. The wood pulp used by Innovia is sourced from managed forests operated under international standards for forestry management with respect to social, ecological and economical requirements.

Tojo Packaging and Tojo Procurement Services teamed up with Pure Bendigo Gold and TRADESTART Victoria to promote regional Australian honey to groups of Chinese buyers.   While promoting Pure Bendigo Gold’s premium honeys, we were able to offer the buyers unique packaging options, as well as advise on logistics and preparing the product for export.
